This option has gained popularity over time. It involves using old shipping containers that are no longer useful for their primary purpose as the base of the prefab house.
In a prefab container house, the structure and some of the enclosing elements are provided by the containers themselves. This type of construction can be modular, with each module corresponding to a container.
